Late notice venue change for PHIT Week

Due to a scheduling error, the PHILLY IMPROV THEATER has announced that it has been forced to change venues for this weeks run of shows. All shows will now be at The Actor’s Center at 257 N 3rd St in Philadelphia.

As part of this error, they’ve also been forced to cancel the shows they had scheduled for Friday night. If you already purchased a ticket for a Friday night show, email them, and they will either change your ticket to the Saturday performance or refund your purchase. You can still catch Marjean on Friday night in their scheduled 10pm slot, but this is a new show arranged through the N Crowd. Existing PHIT tickets will not apply.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the last Why Am I Not Famous?!, Kent Haines’ powerhouse comedy talk show.  This month’s guests are Gregg Gethard and powerpoint heroes Rowan and Hastings.

10 p.m. – Guilty Pleasures – $5

Comedian Brendan Kennedy has his finger firmly on the pulse of terrible written work (including found scripts, embarrassing emails, and more), and he is ready to present it all to you in all of its hilarious awkwardness.

Thursday, 6/4

8 p.m. – Improv Comedy PhD – $5

A monthly showcase of great college improv paired with PHIT professionals. Today’s starving artists, tomorrow’s comedy legends!

This month: We’ve doubled your undergraduate pleasure this month with not one, but TWO of the area’s best college troupes. They’re here to show Philly there’s more to Penn State than a disappointing football team! PSU’s Full Ammo and Your Ex-Boyfriend’s Improv open for PHIT Resident Group Activity Book.

First up, it’s PHIT Restident Group Fletcher!  Then: Undefeated champs of the annual Dirtiest Sketch in Philly contest, Secret Pants have a rabid online following and present a live sketch show that lives up to every ounce of the world wide hype.

10 p.m. – Everything Must Go and Marjean – $10

PHIT Resident Group Everything Must Go pairs up with visiting troupe Marjean. The Marjean cast is a sassy crew of men and women who appear regularly at ImprovBoston, where they delight audiences with their playful mix of the standard Harold structure with provocative environmental embellishment. Physically and verbally agile, Marjean will entertain and amuse with great aplomb and style.

11:30 p.m. – Sketch Up or Shut Up – POSTPONED
